Improving cooperation relationship between EVNNPT and Malaysian Electricity (Tenaga Nasional Berhard)

​From April 18 to 20, 2018, delegation of National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) led by EVNNPT president and CEO, Mr. Vu Ngoc Minh, came to Malaysia to work with Tenaga Nasional Berhard (TNB).

TNB is the only power company in Peninsular Malaysia as well as the largest listed power company in Southeast Asia with net asset value to MYR 99.03 billion (US $ 25.2 billion). TNB's power transmission services are rated as one of the best in the world.

With the warm welcome of Mr. Dato Ir Ho Peng Choong - the vice president in charge of TNB's power network, EVNNPT has exchanged information on modern technology, learned experiences on operation and development of advanced transmission grid, seeking for cooperation opportunities with TNB in ​​the near future.

In 2 working days, representatives of TNB have introduced and shared EVNNPT about TNB's power transmission system with the contents of unmanned substations; reduction of incident, operation and maintenance of primary equipment, secondary equipment; design of substations and selection of standard equipment; experience in investment, asset management, transmission tariff; human resources and training ... In addition, the delegation also visited Dispatching Center of TNB. The presentations from TNB experts have brought many useful knowledge and detail information for the research and selection of technologies that can be applied on the power grid in Vietnam.
