The overhauled KH504 shunt reactor
energized
This is an
overhaul project in 2016 which is selected bu PTC1 as one of focal tasks in
2016. Before that, on September 9th 2016, Ninh Binh Power Transmission under
PTC1 energized and put into operation the KH501 shunt reactor.
The energizing of
overhauled KH501, KH 504 shunt reactors contributes to increasing flexibility
in voltage allcation in power system, in general and 500kV power grid in
particular, reducing power loss in transmission grid, increasing transmission
capacity in the 500kV North-South transmission line sections. This is a premise
for PTC1 to settle the similar shortcomings for the existing 500kV shunt reactors
in transmission grid.
The project is
implemented by Anh Duong – Sai Gon limited Liability Company, the supervising,
testing, commissioning units include: Testing Division, Power Equipment Repair
Division, Ninh Binh Power Transmission under PTC1.
Operation done before energizing
To push up the
implementation process for an early energizing, PTC1 leaders guided functional
Divisions and units to cooperate with National Load Dispatch Centre (A0) to
develop an optimal power-cut schedules as well as guided the implementing units
to organize a detail implementing plan at site so that the project is
implemented as scheduled.
The project
implementation is done in the complicated weather conditions: long duration of
hottest weather (for KH501 shunt reactor) and long duration of rain (for KH504
shunt reactor), severely affected by storm No. 6 and 7, but work load is huge
and complicated, which require a strict technical procedures.
However, with the
high determination and guidance by PTC1 leaders of PTC1, Ninh Binh Power
Transmission and workers of implementing units have completed the project
successfully./.
