The Mission included Mr. Nguyen Duc Cuong – Member of Board of EVNNPT, leaders of EVNNPT’s functional Depts., Mr. Nguyen Ha Dong – Director of Power Transmission Company No.2 (PTC2), Mr, Tran Thanh Phong – Deputy Director of PTC2, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuyen - Director of Central Power Projects Management Board, leaders of functional divisions and units under PTC2.
Kon Tum - Gia Lai power transmission branch has 119 regular employees at its head office and 04 power transmission teams which are responsible for repairing, operating and managing the 220kV – 500kV power network in Kon Tum province and partial Gia Lai province. This branch is undertaking 143.20 km of the first circuit of Danang – Pleiku 500kV power transmission line from location 1972 (Quang Nam) to Pleiku 500kV substation(Dakglei power transmission team manages from location 1972 to location 2068; Dakto power transmission team manages from location 2069 to location 2181; Kon Tum power transmission team manages from location 2181) and 101.5 km of the second circuit of Pleiku – Doc Soi 500kV power transmission line, from Pleiku 500kV power substation to location 235 and distance of location 235 and location 236.

The route managed by this branch goes along Truong Son mountains and near the border, passed through many areas with high mountain terrain like Lo Xo, Mang Den, Violak…During last years, to perform well its duties, Kon Tum - Gia Lai power transmission branch has assigned each of departments, divisions and units with specific tasks and each of workers has detailed task in the filed of their work. Employees always focused and strived to complete their assigned tasks and encouraged individuals to overcome difficulties improving the efficiency in their works. Technical management, rehearsal of flood prevention, faults handling have been strictly implemented in compliance with process regulated by EVNNPT. In the coming time, the branch is preparing to participate in management of new projects, such as Pleiku - Kon Tum 220 kV transmission line, Hatxan – Pleiku 500 kV transmission line…

For the recommendations of units, the Chairman analyzed, assessed, and gave strategic directions to continually strengthen and improve the quality of operation and management. At the same time, The Chairman also reminded and encouraged staff of units to promote the achievements gained and overcome all difficulties to ensure the safe and uninterupted operation of the power transmission network in the area.
