By the end of 2025, EVNNPT will manage and operate 33,405 km of power lines (including 12,335 km of 500kV lines and 21,070 km of 220kV lines), an increase of 278% compared to the initial establishment of EVNNPT (12,015 km in 2008); and manage and operate 222 substations (including 45 500kV substations and 177 220kV substations) with a total transformer capacity of 147,445 MVA, a significant increase in both the number of substations and total transformer capacity compared to the initial establishment of EVNNPT.
The national power transmission system has reached all the provinces and cities nation-wide, and is now interconnected to the regional transmission grids with up-to-date technologies applied such as multi-circuit and multi-voltage levels transmission lines, 220 kV underground cable, 220 kV GIS substation, unmanned substations, digital computer-based integrated control system, fault locators, online oil monitoring system, SCADA system, etc.
In 2020, EVNNPT has completed its strategic objective, become one of 4 leading power transmission utilities in ASEAN (as evaluated by SIEMENS AG).
