INTRODUCE OVERVIEW FOR
THE PARTY COMMITEE NATIONAL ELECTRICITY TRANSPORT CORPORATION
I. Establishment, fucntions and missions:
Party Committee of The National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) was established by the Party Committee of the Vietnam Electricity (EVN) at Decision No. 11-QĐ/TVĐU dated August 20th 2008. At the same time, Party Committee of EVNNPT was assigned to accept the party members, stabilize the organization, operation and formulate a Project on establishment of EVNNPT’s Party Committee down to the local levels. After the Project was approved by Organization Department of Central Committee, Enterprise Party Committee of Central Committee, in January 22nd 2009, the Decision No. 37-QĐ/TVĐU on the establishment of EVNNPT’s Party Committee was signed by EVN’s Party Committee.
Even since its inception, EVNNPT’s Party Committee has quickly stablized its organization and operation. In March 2009, EVN’s Party Committee, EVNNPT’s Party Committee finished taking in 7 grassroot Party Committees as part of EVNNPT’s Party Committee. On August 14th, 2009, after the Central enterprise–sector Party Committee Party Committee granted EVNNPT’s Party Committee with some above-grassroot-level authority based on Decision no. 196-QD/TQ on November 24th, 2008 from the Central Secretariat, EVNNPT’s Party Committee signed the decision to establish Departments to develop the Party (Bureau, Organization Department, Department of Propaganda and Training). On August 15th, 20117, EVNNPT’s Party Committee signed decision no. 146-QD/DU to establish the Party Committee of National Power Transmission Services Company (NPTS).
As a Party Committee with a vertical structure, the Party Committee has led EVNNPT to make the most out of the situation, strive to overcome all difficulties, challenges to accomplish our missions in the past years in all areas including political, organizational and ethical aspects. According to the second Party Committee Conference of EVNNPT’s Party Committee (2015-2020 term) was held on June 25th – 26th, 2015 in Hanoi: “After 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the Party Committee Conference for the 2010-2015 term, EVNNPT’s Party Committeee has followed the Resolution of the Congress, the guidelines and directions of higher management, proposed specific solutions, focused on leadership, took drastic measures; with the spirit of active initiative, effort of each party member and employee, the Corporation has achieved many important results: “Ensure the safe, uninterrupted, stable operation of transmission grid, contributing to the power supply to the socio-economic development and people’s livelihood; implement the construction investment of big amount and value; the focal important projects put into operation timely; the financial and fund arrangement have been improved; the management and administration of enterprise has been strengthened; the training and human resources development have been giving with high attention; imcome of staff were stable; working conditions have been improved. Continuing to take care of the work of Party and mass organizations formulation, the focus is to thoroughly understand and implement the resolutions of Central Conference of the 11th session and the party committees at all levels; To pay attention to the work of cadres, pushing up the study and follow Ho Chi Minh's moral thinking and example; The activities of the Party Committee are deployed deeply in all fields; prestige and position of EVNNPT are increased.”
II. Organization structure
At present, the Executive Board of EVNNPT Party Committee, session III, term 2020 – 2025 includes 27 comrades, Standing Committee includes 9 comrades, Supervisory Committee includes 5 comrades, the Secretary holds concurrently the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors, the Vice Secretary holds concurrently the position of President and CEO (detail information can be found in Item III, IV).
The Party Committee includes 4 Departments to provide assistance, including Bureau, Organization Department, Department of Propaganda and Training, and Supervisory Committee.
By 30/06/2020, EVNNPT Party Committee has 23 units (08 Party Committees at local levels and 15 subsidiary cells), with a total 1.986 party members divided into 171 cells, operated in the whole country (more details can be found in Item V).
