The meeting was comprised of Mr. Tran Minh Sanh - Chairman
of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Duong Quang Thanh – Vice President of
Vietnam Electricity (EVN) and Mr. Tran Quoc Lam – Vice President of EVNNPT.
In the meeting, reports on the implementation of the project
stated, EVNNPT was assigned by EVN to be investor of core power grid projects
in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, which including 500kV Phu My - Song May
transmission line, 220kV Ba Ria - Vung Tau transmission line, 220kV Vung Tau
substation and 220kV Phu My 2 Industrial Zone substation. Southern Power
Project Management Board (SPPMB) is responsible for management of these
projects on be half of EVNNPT. These are
core projects in order to meet the
increasing load demand continuously
of the process of socio-economic development in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
As of 3/2013, the construction of above mentioned projects still faces
many difficulties in site clearance.
After listening to reports on the implementation of
projects, problems and recommendations, Mr. Tran Minh Sanh - Chairman of the
provincial People's Committee has taken responsibility to solve all of the
proposals. Simultaneously he assigned relevant departments to urgently carry
out as well as drastically direct districts supporting and coordinating with
SPPMB to solve pending issues within one month.
At the conclusion of the meeting, SPPMB worked directly with
Trading and Industry Department for soon report in details to the Chairman of
the Provincial People's Committee. Based on this report, pending issues will be
directed shortly by the Chairman for solution in order to ensure project
progress.
