Participation in meeting include members of working group for implmeneting
the package from functional Departments such as: Planning, Technical,
Procurement Management, Investment Management, Materials, International
Relations, Information Technologies, Finance and Accounting, and contractor –
Elia Grid International SA (EGI).
This package is under Component 3 – Capacity building, Phase 1 of
“Transmission Efficiency Project (TEP)” funded by World Bank (WB).
The purpose of package is to establish a power transmission asset
management system based on international standard of PAS-55 and make it
applicable for applying in EVNNPT, integate
the existing softwares to have sufficient information so that EVNNPT will have decisions on investment,
maintenance based on technico-economic and risk analysis, set up the standards and policies on power transmission
assets management.
EGI has won the tender, with total value of contract of USD 240,000 USD, time
of contact of 6 months, from end July 2018 to January 2019. EGI will have to
work with EVNNPT and all its
subsidiaries to carry out 04 main activities: (i) Assessment of current assets
management system, policies, strategies on assets management in EVNNPT; (ii) Analysis of the gap and
difficulties in information technologies system, policies, procedures on assets
management; (iii) Formulation of vision and policies on assets management; and
(iv) Formulation of assets management roadmap in EVNNPT.
After the package, EGI will complete the Final Report, including
recommendations and roadmap on assets management implementation in EVNNPT.
When the assets management system is applied, the equipment of EVNNPT transmission grid will be monitored
better, based on the identified policies and strategy, on which the decisions
on maintenance and repair of equipment will be made effectively./.
