Energizing and putting into operation AT2 220kV-250MVA transformer of 220kV Nam Dinh substation

​At 12:00 on 24/08/2015, at 220kV  Nam Dinh substation, Power Transmission Company 1 (PTC1) in collaboration with the related units energized and put into operation AT2 220kV-250MVA transformer at 220kV Nam Dinh substation.

The energization and putting into operation of AT2 220kV-250MVA transformer MBA at 220kV Nam Dinh substation not only provides electricity directly to Nam Dinh, Thai Binh and Ha Nam provinces but also plays an important role in ensuring the national power transmission network safe, stable, contributing to the social-economic development, security and defense of the Southern Red River delta. 

The project "Increasing the capacity of 220kV Nam Dinh substation from (125 + 250) MVA up to 2x250MVA" has the total investment of over 84 billion with the National Power Transmission (EVNNPT) as the investor; Power Engineering Consulting joint stock company 3 (EVNPECC3) as designing consultant, units of Power Transmission company 1 (PTC1); Equipment repair workshop, Ninh Binh power transmission company, Experiment workshop responsible for the implementation.

The project has a total construction and investment: replacing the existing 220kV- 125MVA transformer with a 220kV-250MVA transformer; replacing and installing additional equipment to suit the new transformer.

The construction was started on 29/05/2015 inside Nam Dinh 220kV substation and located in My Phuc commune, My Loc district, Nam Dinh province./.
