The
450MVA transformer - 500kV Duyen Hai power centre substation
The 500/220kV Duyen Hai Power Centre
substation put into operation will receive and transmit full capacity from
Duyen Hai power centre into the national power system through the 500kV and
220kV transmission lines synchronized with Duyen Hai Power Plant No. 1, 2 and 3;
receive and exchange power energy with the big sources of power to be
constructed in the region; provide a secure, uninterrupted, stable power supply
for serving the socio-economic development demands and ensure the national
defense of the South-Western area in particular and the Southern area in
general after 2015; increase stability, reliability for power system.
The scope of 500/220kV Duyen Hai
Power Centre substation project is to construct a new 500kV/220kV substation,
with a capacity of 2x450MVA, in phase 1 a transformer of 450MVA is installed; A
500kV distribution yard includes of 12 feeders at 500kV, with equipment
installed for 7 feeders in phase 1; the 220kV distribution yard includes of 16
feeders at 220kV, with equipment installed for 8 feeders in phase 1; the
protection, control and measurement system, communication and SCADA system.
The 220kV Duyen Hai - Mo Cay
transmission line project includes of 2 circuits, with a length of 75.27 km connecting
the 500kV Duyen Hai power centre to the 220kV Mo Cay substation. It runs
through the districts of: Duyen Hai, Tra Cu, Cau Ngang, Chau Thanh, Cang Long
of Tra Vinh province; Vung Liem district of Vinh Long province; the districts
of Northern Mo cay, Southern Mo Cay of Ben Tre province.

220kV Thermal Power Duyen Hai – Mo Cay transmission line
The 500/220kV Duyen Hai Power Centre
substation project has a total investment cost of VND 1,213 billion and the 220kV
Duyen Hai – Mo Cay transmission line project has a total investment cost of VND
1,011 billion invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT);
SPMB is on behalf of EVNNPT to manage
the project; Power Transmission Company No. 4 (PTC4) will receive the
management and operation of project after its completion.
The 500/220kV Duyen Hai Power Centre
substation project is recognized to be honour of 2nd EVN Party Congress, period
2015-2020.
Before that, on June 11th 2015, SPMB
energized the 220kV Ben Tre – Mo Cay transmission line project to evacuate
capacity of Duyen Hai Thermal Power Plant No. 1./.
