
The 500kV Vung Ang, Ha Tinh, Da Nang transmission line (branch 1) was under installation
Putting the 500kV Vung Ang – Ha Tinh, Da Nang transmission line
(branch 1) into operation will bring into full play capacity of the 2000A
series capacitors in the 500kV North – South transmission line, upgrading the
loading capacity of the 500kV North-South transmission line from 1000A to
2000A, evacuating power capacity from the North to Central area and from
Central area to the South, which ensures a stable power supply to Ho Chi Minh
city and Southern provinces in 2015 dry season and subsequent years; reduces
the power system losses; increases reliability, stability and security in
operation of the National power system, evacuates capacity of Vung Ang 1
Thermal Power Plant.
The 500kV Vung Ang- Ha Tinh, Da Nang transmission line (branch 1)
is a double-circuit one, from switching yard of 500kV Vung Ang Power Centre to
the existing 500kV Da Nang- Ha Tinh transmission line (circuit 1). It has a
length of 17.02km, including 42 tower locations, running through communes of Ky
Loi, Ky Trinh, Ky Hung and Ky Hoa of Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province.
The project is invested by EVNNPT. CPMB
(Central Power Projects Management Board) is assigned by EVNNPT to manage the
project. Power Engineering Consultation Company 2 (PECC2) is designer.
Contractors participated in project implementation include Joint Venture of
Power Construction and Installation Stock Company and Thang Long Industrial Machinery
Installation and Trade Stock Company; Joint
Venture of Machinery Installation Stock Company and Local Power Limited
Company. Power Transmission Company No. 1 is responsible for the operation
management.
The 500kV Vung Ang – Ha Tinh, Da Nang transmission line (branch 1)
project has a total investment cost of VND 493.130 billion, using a credit of
VND 394.5 billion from Sai Gon- Hanoi Trade Joint Stock Company (SHB), West
Hanoi branch and EVNNPT’s equity./.
