The
220kV Ben Tre – Mo Cay transmission line: Conductor stringing is under
implementation
The scope of project is to build a
new double-circuit 220kV transmission line, of a length of 2x19.7km (from the
220kV Ben Tre substation to 220kV Mo Cay substation) and expand 2 feeders at
220kV Ben Tre substation. The project runs through area of Ben Tre city and
districts of Mo Cay Nam, Mo cay Bac of Ben Tre province.
The project has a total cost of over
VND 482 billion, invested by EVNNPT; SPMB is on behalf of EVNNPT to manage
the project; Project design is done by
Power Engineering Consultation Company No. 3 (PECC3), Project implementation is
done by Power Consulting Company No. 1 (PCC1). After the project is completed,
management and operation of project will be done by Power Transmission Company
No. 4 (PTC4) .
The project construction is to
provide a stable power supply to the national defense, socio-economic
development of Ben Tre province and surrounding areas. The 220kV Ben Tre – Mo
Cay, together with 500kV Duyen Hai substation, 500kV Duyen Hai - My Tho
transmission line, 220kV Duyen Hai - Mo Cay transmission line (expected to be
completed in 2015) will evacuate entire capacity of Duyen Hai Power Centre into
the national power system, creating a stable linkage between Duyen Hai Power
Centre and the 500kV/220kV transmission lines, which ensures a stable power
supply to the South-Western area.
The efforts made by SPMB staff who
spent weekends to settle the difficulties, outstanding in compensation, site
clearance for 687 affected households, as
well as the fact that project completed 2 months before schedule have
shown high efforts, determination by entire SPMB staff in emulation movement to
complete project to be honour of EVNNPT’s session 2 Party Congress, term 2015 –
2020./.
