EGÚ Praha Engineering a.s Joint Stock Company
is a technical company, specialized in providing solutions in power network and
services aiming at energy save and increased efficiency of power use. EGÚ operates
in 3 main aspects: Stabilization of power grid parameters; load distribution
control and information technologies .

Institute of Energy (IE), General Department of Energy (GDE), functional
Departments of EVNNPT, Power
Transmission Companies No. 1, 2, 3, 4 and Northern, Central and Southern Power
Projects Management Board.
For the Trade Promotion Department include Mr.
Zdenek Degen – Director ; EGU Joint Stock Company includes Mr. Jaromír Beran – Director
and Mr. Petr Čech – Director of System Control and parameters Division.

The workshop is to introduce experiences and
capacity in development and application of methodologies and algorithms, SW
system, HW and technical tools to stabilize parameters on power grid, voltage,
reactive power of the system at all voltage levels, with typical products:
(1) SAVR – Automatic System of Voltage and Reactive Power Control;
(2) ARN – Automatic Voltage Controller; (3) SRU – Group Voltage
Controller; (4) Dynamic models of Transients in Power networks; (5) Verification
model for sensitivity analyses .

The advantage of applying SAVR solution is to
take full use of existing means such as control system, transmission routes,
transformers as parts of adjustment.
According to estimation, technical loss will be reduced about 3-5% with the
installed SAVR.
It is indicated by the workshop that both sides
have received useful information, which can be basis for opening up a future
cooperation./.
