EVNNPT’s Chairman Dang Phan Tuong – inspects the progress of 220kV Van Tri – Chem, 500kV Quang Ninh – Mong Duong Transmission Line projects

From 10th – 11th September 2013, a National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT)’s mission led by Chairman Dang Phan Tuong organized an inspection at the 220kV Van Tri – Chem and the 500kV Quang Ninh – Mong Duong transmission line (T/L) projects. ​

The mission has organized inspection on site clearance at 2 locations No. 33 and No. 34 and foundation casting at tower location No. 7 belonging to the 220kV Van Tri – Chem T/L. According to report by the Northern Power Projects Management Board (NPMB), up to now,   foundation casting has been completed at 27/44 locations, is under implementation at 4 locations, while tower erection has been completed at 18/44 locations, is under implementation at 6 locations. Besides, foundation layout has been transferred by NPMB to implementing unit at 34/44 tower locations. Regarding the right-of-way, some main tasks have been completed including measurement, copy of land areas with residence area, house, achitechture within the right-of-way, ongoing procedure on hiring consultants to do appraisal on compensation price as regulated by Hanoi People’s Committee. Due to the site clearance difficulties, foundation layout has not been transferred to the implementing unit at 10 tower locations. NPMB is actively coordinating with relevant agencies to handle the difficulties to ensure the completion of project phase 1, tentatively on 30th November 2013.  

   
For the 500kV Quang Ninh – Mong Duong T/L project, the mission has inspected the implementation at location No. 56, visited the construction site of Mong Duong Thermal Power Centre, including the installation of  500kV switchgear; inspected the improvement and extension of 500kV Quang Ninh substation. It is reported by NPMB that the 500kV Quang Ninh – Mong Duong has basically ensured the general progress. The Joint Stock Song Da 11 Company is responsible for package No. 7 on installation. Foundation casting has been completed at 23/29 locations, under implementation at 1 location; the tower erection has been completed at 02/29 locations, under erection at 8 locations, while equipment are under transportation for 1 location. The package No. 9 is responsible by Song Da 11 Joint Stock Company, foundation casting has been completed at all 28 locations, tower erection has been completed at 2 locations, under erection at 7 locations, while transportation of equipment have been completed for 3 locations and is under transportation for other 3 locations. Compensation and site clearance are basically convenient, without big difficulties. NPMB will transfer the right-of-way for line tension from 15th September 2013. Expectedly, the 500kV Quang Ninh – Mong Duong transmission line will be completed by early March 2014.
During the trip, Chairman Dang Phan Tuong and the mission have also inspected the operational management, production organization of Quang Ninh Transmission Branch under Transmission Company No. 1 as well as visited and encouraged engineers, workers of Trang Bach Transmission line Division.
