On May 31st, 2018 in Hanoi, EVNNPT organized a Ceremony to announce the
Decision to assign Mr. Nguyen Tuan Tung as the Deputy Party Secretary, member
of Board of Directors and President & CEO of EVNNPT. Mr. Nguyen Tuan Tung will replace Mr. Vu Ngoc Minh, who has
retired based on current regulation on June 1st, 2018.

other leaders from EVN; representatives from EVN’s Departments. From EVNNPT, representatives from Party

Labour Union, Secretary of the Youth Union; Departmental Directors and Deputy
Directors; Party Secretary and Directors of EVNNPT’s subsidiaries.

Speaking at the Ceremony, EVN’s Chairman of
Board of Directors Duong Quanh Thanh highly appreciated the role of EVNNPT in fulfilling the task of ensuring
safe, uninterrupted and stable power transmission for the socio-economic
development of the country. Within ten years after its establishment, EVNNPT has overcome many challenges to
become more and more developed to achieve the targets assigned by EVN. EVN’s
Chairman of Board of Directors hoped that with his capability and experience,
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Tung will continue to bring his strengths into the new role to
fulfill the responsibility of EVNNPT’s
management in maintaining and promoting a unified tradition, encouraging ongoing
achievements and developing EVNNPT
even further to meet the expectations of EVN’s management and of EVNNPT’s management and staff.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Tung
appreciated the trusts and concerns of EVN’s management, EVNNPT’s Board of Directors and the entire
staff of the Corporation. He also expressed his determination and will to
fulfill all assignments given by upper management, to unite the minds, talents
and experiences of EVNNPT’s
management and staff to accomplish the Corporation’s target as one of the four
leading transmission service providers in ASEAN by 2020; one of the ten leading
transmission service providers in Asia by 2025 and an advanced power service provider
in the world by 2030./.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Tung was born in 1970, is a
Doctor in Power System, has expertise and experiences in load dispatch,
management of the power system and has been through the following positions:
Engineer, Deputy Director, Director of Power system analysis and planning,
Deputy Manager of National Load Dispatch Centre and Vice President of EVNNPT.
