Energization of two 220 kV transmission lines of Tuy Hoa - Nha Trang

​At 23h52 on May 22nd 2018, Power Transmission Company No 3 (PTC3) has coordinated with related departments to energize the two 220 kV transmission lines of Tuy Hoa - Nha Trang, completed the project of "Circuit of 2 lines 220kV Tuy Hoa - Nha Trang".

The project has a total investment of 162.8 VND which was invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation with the scale of: upgrade- foundations, columns, replacing accessories, porcelain insulators, existing conductors ACSR 240/39 by ACSR/Mz 400/51 to operate the 220 kV voltage level (circuit 2) with a total length of 128.8 km; to construct one 220 kV feeder at Tuy Hoa 220 kV substation; to expand the substation and build a new one 220 kV feeder at Nha Trang 220 kV substation.

The line passes through 30 communes in 06 districts, towns and cities of Phu Yen province and Khanh Hoa province.

The project was put into operation not only to enhance the transmission capacity of Tuy Hoa - Nha Trang 220 kV transmission line, but also to supply power to Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen provinces and improve the reliability of providing electricity, reducing technical losses, improving the quality of power transmission networks.

With the success of this energization, the project contributes to emulate achievement of Celebrating the 128th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh and the 10th anniversary of the National Power Transmission Corporation (1/7/2008 - 1/7/2018).
