Energizing and putting into operation of 220 kV Phu Tho substation

​At 02:55pm on April 2, 2018 in Phu Tho province, the Northern Power Projects Management Board (NPMB) coordinated with other related units to operate 220kV Phu Tho substation.

Energizing and putting into operation of the 220 kV Phu Tho substation will meet the demand of socio-economic development, the load growth of Phu Tho province; reduce power losses in the transmission grid, creating flexibility in the operation of the National grid.

This is the energy level I, Group B has a total investment of 280.8 billion VND invested by National Power Transmission (EVNNPT), NPMB is responsible for project management, it was designed by Power Engineering Consultant Joint Stock Company No. 1 and constructed by the Vietnam LILAMA Corporation. The Power Transmission Company No.1 was assigned to manage and operate the project after its completion.

The project scale is 02 220/110 / 22kV transformers – 250 MVA, this stage is to install 01 transformer; the 220kV side used double busbar systems, with spare space for installing transferred busbars, including 10 feeders; with equipment installed for 4 feeders; the 110kV side uses double busbar system with transferred busbars, including 14 feeders, this stage installs equipment for 09 feeders; 35kV, 22kV using block diagram, with power for auxiliary purposes...

The substation was built in Dai An commune, Thanh Ba district, Phu Tho province.​
