The Northern Power Project Management Board said : By the end of September 11, for the 220kV Van Tri – Chem transmission line project, foundation-casting of 27/44 positions has completed and 4 positions are under construction; tower erection of 18/44 positions has completed and 6 positions are under construction. The Northern Power Project Management Board has hand over the site of 34/44 positions for the construction company . For the safe corridor, the measurement, drawings and copy of lands with houses and structures located under the safe corridor have completed and procedures for consultant engagement to appraise the price as regulated by Hanoi People’s Committee are ongoing. There are still 9 positions have not hand over to the contractor due to difficulties and problems of site clearance. The Northern Power Project Management Board is actively coordinating with relevant parties to urgently unbind obstacles to ensure the completion of Phase 1 of the project no later than November 30, 2013
Chairman Dang Phan Tuong checked the connection from the 220kV Van Tri – Chem transmission line to the 220kV substation.
According to the Northern Power Project Management Board, basically, the overall progress of the 500kV Quang Ninh – Mong Duong transmission line project is ensured. For civil works package 7 implemented by the Song Da Thang Long 11 Joint Stock Company, foundation-casting of 23/29 positions has completed and 1 position is under construction; tower erection of 03/28 positions has completed and 7 positions are under construction; equipment for 1 position is under transportation. For package 9 implemented by the Song Da 11 Joint Stock Company, foundation-casting of 27/28 positions has completed; tower erection of 03/28 positions has completed and 7 positions are under construction; equipment transportation for 3 position has completed and 3 are under transportation. The site clearance and compensation are basically in favorable , no big problems. The Northern Power Project Management Board will hand over the corridor for conductor stringing from September 15, 2013. The transmission line will be completed and energized on February 27, 2014 .
After direct examination on the construction site of the 220kV Van Tri – Chem transmission line project and 500kV Quang Ninh – Mong Duong transmission line project, worked with concerned units , Mr. Dang Phan Tuong - Chairman directed the Northern Power Project Management Board to urgently coordinate with stakeholders , especially local authorities of districts which the lines passing through for problems to soon hand over the remaining 09 foundation positions to the construction units under the 220kV Van Tri – Chem transmission line project; to request material and equipment suppliers to provide goods in time; the construction contractor to focus on civil works as soon as the site clearance has hand over to complete the energized of phase 1 no later than November 30, 2013.

For the 500kV Quang Ninh – Mong Duong transmission line project, chairman Dang Phan Tuong emphasized : particular interest should be given to this project in order to ensure the availability of the connection , evacuating power from Mong Duong Power Thermal Plant, striving to complete , energize this project before February 27, 2014 . To achieve the above mentioned goal , Song Da 11 and Song Da 11 Thang Long contractors have to strengthen manpower, take advantage of favorable weather and provide mutual assistance in the construction process, the equipment and material suppliers have to speed up their delivery earlier than the contractual commitments.
Mr. Dang Phan Tuong - chaired the progress review meeting of the 220kV Van Tri – Chem transmission line project and 500kV Quang Ninh – Mong Duong transmission line project.
Mr. Dang Phan Tuong asked the functional Departments of EVNNPT to work with the Institute of Energy and related entities for agreement on column numbering method of the 220kV Van Tri – Chem transmission line project and 500kV Quang Ninh – Mong Duong transmission line project as well as other transmission lines. The Power Transmission Company 1 is assigned to coordinate closely with stakeholders in the monitoring, commissioning to ensure safe operation after receiving, management and operation of these two transmission lines . Chairman of EVNNPT emphasized the Northern Power Project Management Board should actively carry out measures to ensure adequate capital arrangements for two projects: 220kV Van Tri – Chem transmission line project and 500kV Quang Ninh – Mong Duong transmission line. The Northern Power Project Management Board is also required to positive complete procedures for early disbursement , not to owe the contractors . During disbursement of compensation capital , the Northern Power Project Management Board should strictly follow the provisions of law.
