This is an energy project of level
1, group C, with total cost of nearly VND 79 billion invested by National Power
TransmissioN Corporation (EVNNPT). NPMB is on behalf of EVNNPT to manage the
project. Power Engineering Consultation Company No. 1 (PECC1) is responsible
for project design; Power Construction Company No. 1 – My Dinh is responsible
for project construction; Power Transmission Company No. 1 (PTC1) takes over
the project management and operation after its completion.
The project is constructed to
strengthen the power supply to the region, evacuate a part of capacity of
regional hydropower plants to the national power system, increase the
production and business efficiency of Vietnam Electricity (EVN).
The scope of project is to install a
second 3 phase 220/110/22kV-250MVA transformer (increasing capacity of 220kV Lao
Cai substation from 1x250MVA to 2x250MVA); install a new 220kV incoming feeder,
110kV and 22kV outcoming feeders for the new transformer; install a 22/0,4kV
auxiliary transformer; add the protection control system, protection relay for
the new transformer and equipment cabinets; utilize the existing fire
protection and treatment system, install a spraying tubes system for the newly
installed transformer./.
