Energizing and putting into operation the 220kV transformer at 500kV Ha Tinh substation

At 15h00 on July
9th 2016, at the 500kV Ha Tinh substation, National Power Transmission
Corporation (EVNNPT) energized and put into operation the 2nd 220 kV transformer
of 125 MVA, at 220/110/11kV of AT3 substation, completing project “Installing
the 2nd 220kV-125MVA transformer at 500 kV Ha Tinh substation".

The 2nd 220kV transformer of 500 kV
Ha Tinh substation put into operation in parallel with AT4 transformer which
energized in 2002 and the improvement of 110kV feeder outline will ensure the
load demand, increase the stability, flexibility and reliability on power
supply to Ha Tinh province and surrounding areas.
The project has a total cost of
nearly VND 68 billion invested by EVNNPT; Northern Power Projects Management
Board (NPMB) on behalf of EVNNPT manages the project; Power Engineering
Consultant Company No. 1 (PECC1) is responsible for project design; Ha Tinh
Power Transmission (under Power Transmission Company No. 1) is responsible for
supervision consultation and takes over the project management and operation;
Song Da 11 – Thang Long one-member limited liability company is in charge of project
construction.
The project is implemented at the
hottest time of summer, the temperature at site was often over 40oC. However,
with the close instruction by leaders of EVNNPT, PTC1, Ha Tinh Power
Transmission as well as efforts by all staffs, the implementing units have
overcome difficulties to complete the project ahead scheduled./.
