The
220/110/22kV-250MVA transformer at 220
kV Ham Tan substation
The energized 220 kV Ham Tan
substation will meet the power demand in Ham Tan district, La Gi town, Binh
Thuan province; reduce load for the 220 kV Phan Thiet substation, protect
against overload for the 110kV transmission line routes in the area, create
favorable conditions for future connection of Son My power plant; increase
reliability, meeting the load demand, supply power for the socio-economic development,
national defense of Binh Thuan province and surrounding areas.
The project has a total cost of over
VND 310 billion invested by National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT); SPMB is on behalf of EVNNPT to manage the project; Power
Transmission Company No. 3 (PTC3) will take over the management and operation
of project after completion.
Scope of project: To construct a new
220 kV substation of 250MVA capacity (installing a 220/110/22kV-250MVA transformer
and a spare space for installing 02 transformers, at this stage MBA). The
substation is constructed in an area of 4,46 ha in Tan Phuoc commune, La Gi
town, Ham Tan district, Binh Thuan province. It starts on September 29th 2015.
