Attending the opening session of training course include: Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung – EVNNPT’s President and CEO, Mr. Luu Minh Tuan – EVNNPT’s Member of Management Board, Mr. Tran Quoc Lam – EVNNPT’s Vice President, Mr. Hoang Xuan Phong – Director of Power Transmission Company No. 3, Mr. Pham Le Phu – Director of Power Transmission Company No. 1 and 134 trainees who are from functional Departments and subsidiaries of EVNNPT, and their works relate to procurement.
The training couse lasts for 2 days from 8th to 9th May 2014. Dr. Nguyen Viet Hung – Former Director of Procurement Management Department – Ministry of Industry and Trade – is the trainer of the course.
The training course focused o Law on Procurement 2013 (Law No. 43/2013/QH13) in order to exchange experiences and solutions on occurred problems, settlement of problems in procurement process in EVNNPT and Vietnam, including the main contents as follows:
- General regulations of Law on Procurement 2013.
- Selection of contractors and organize professional bidding.
- Plan and selection of contractors, investors.
- Assessment of bidding documents, proposal, Bid evaluation documents.
- Shopping, direct contracting; supply of products and services.
- Internet-based selection of contractors.
- responsibilities of parties in selection of contractors, investors.
- Contract.
- State management on procurement.
- Prohibited behaviours and settlement of violation on procurement.
- Settlement of recommendations and disputes in procurement.
