On this occasion, EVNNPT’s Chairman of Management Board Dang Phan Tuong provided gifts, congratulated, encouraged staff in the 500kV Pleiku substation; checked the implementation progress and congratulated staff, engineers, workers of implementing units in the site of 500kV Pleiku- My Phuoc – Cau Bong transmission line (circuit 3).
Along the route from Pleiku to Dak Nong, Dak Lak to Binh Phuoc, 15 contractors are tensing conductor. A busy atmosphere of urgent period is found everywhere in the site. All the workers confirmed a readiness in waiting for and celebrating watch-night time in the site, determined to complete project as scheduled. According to Mr. Dang Van Nghia - Vice Director of Power Construction Joint Stock Company No. 1 (PCC1), because this time is dry season, weather is rather convenient, so workers have to take full advantage of time for conductor tension. In the difficult areas, the company will use a balloon to support stringing conductor, which pushs up progress, limits compensation because of no tree cutting, ensures the quality of conductors without scratch. Mr. Nghia revealed that about 120 people of PPC1 will wait for and celebrate watch-night time in the site. The company has prepared sufficient conditions so that workers will have a happy and meaningful Tet celebration.
Conductor strining was carried out continuously in Tet days
Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuyen – Director of Central Power Projects Management Board revealed that the implementing units are striving day by day to push up the progress. The highest difficulties now include 5 – 6 locations where site clearance has not been done yet because of inconsistence on compensation making foundation casting difficult. Therefore, CPMB, implementing units and localities are actively coordinating in propagandizing, encouraging people. Right after site clearance is done, implementation of that area is carried out. The implementing units confirmed to work during the Tet days. At present, all the works are under control. Surely, the project will be completed as scheduled. With the efforts made by constractors and relevant agencies, CPMB committed to organize a close management and coordination to ensure that the 500kV Pleiku – My Phuoc – Cau Bong transmission line project will be completed as scheduled.
EVNNPT’s leaders were in an early Tet celebration with the workers who will carry out conductor stringining in the site during 2014 Tet days.
EVNNPT’s Chairman of Management Board Dang Phan Tuong revealed that EVNNPT’s leaders are very happy with the emulation impetus in the site. Despite of limited financial conditions, high attention is still given by EVNNPT to the body of workers who implement and operate in the route. The most importance is the compliance of disciplines, orders and responsibilities in labour, ensuring a good security, progress and quality of project.
Mr. Dinh Van Cuong – Director of 500kV Pleiku substation said that he has assigned the functional divisions to remind staff and workers to be careful with and guard against evildoers during the Tet days from stealing materials and equipment; arrange sufficient human resources to guard in the site. Besides, a good coordination with the localities and police have been organized to propagandize and protect safely the right of way.
Mr. Tran Quoc Lam – EVNNPT’s Vice President revealed that the 500kV transmission line (circuit 3) has a significant role for transmission grid of Vietnam. In case that some generation projects in the South are behind schedule, the 500kV transmission line (circuit 3) can be considered as a “target” in power supply to Ho Chi Minh city and surrounding areas from 2014.
