industrial area; improve the power quality, the reliability, the flexibility in
operation and power supply of the regional grid; reducing losses on the grid;

kV Phong Dien substation- A highlight
project to celebrate 10 years of EVNNPT establishment
220kV Phong Dien substation has invested of 205 billion VND by
National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT)
as a main investor, CPMB on the behalf of EVNNPT manages this project, Power Engineering
Consulting Joint Stock Company 4 (PECC4) designs, Song Da Engineering Service
JSC (SDSEC) constructs, National Power Transmission Services (NPTS) calibrates
experiment, and last but not least, Thua Thien Hue Power Transmission Company
(Power Transmission Company 2) supervises the construction and manages operation
when the works are completed.
The project was built in Phong Thu commune,
Phong Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province with a scale of: (i) Building a
new 220/110kV substation with a design of 2 220/110kV-125MVA transformers. There
is 1 transformer; 220kV distribution system includes 12 feeders: installed 4,
reserve 8. 110 kV distribution system including 15 feeders: installed 9,
reserve 6; (ii) Building 220 kV double-circuit transmission line, 1.34km long
for connecting on the existing 220 kV Dong Ha - 220kV A Luoi transmission line
to the station.
The successful energization of 220kV
Phong Dien substation is one of the historic event; this is the project that
CPMB can be registered to emulate to the National Power Transmission Corporation
to celebrate the 10th anniversary of EVNNPT
establishment (1/7/2008 – 1/7/2018)./.
