Energizing and putting into operation of 2nd 220kV transformer at 500/220kV Dong Anh substation

At 20h30 on March 21st 2018, at the
500/220 kV Dong Anh substation (in Thuy Lam, Dong Anh district, Hanoi), Northern
Power Projects Management Board (NPMB) in combination with the relevant units
organized energizing and putting into operation of the 2nd 220kV-250MVA
transformer in project “Installing the 2nd 220kV transformer at the 220kV Dong
Anh substation”.
The AT4 220/110/22kV-250MVA transformer at the 500/220 kV Dong Anh
substation
The energization of the 2nd 220kV-250MVA
transformer at the 500/220 kV Dong Anh substation will strengthen the power
supply to the power load in the Northern Red river of Hanoi city and a part of
Bac Ninh province, increasing reliability of the power system and meeting the
socio-economic development demand in Hanoi city and surrounding areas.
This is the energy project of level
1, Group C, with total cost of VND 70.8 billion invested by the National Power
Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT). NPMB is on behalf of EVNNPT to manage the
implementation of project; Power Engineering Consultation Company 1 (PECC1) is responsible for project design; Power
Construction Company 1 (PCC1) is responsible for project implementation, Power
Transmission Company No. 1 (PTC1) takes over the management and operation
after project completed.
Scope of project: Installing 01 220/110/22kV-250MVA
transformer (increasing capacity of the 220 kV transformer at the 500/220 kV Dong
Anh substation into a 2 x 250 MVA); installing devices at a 220kV feeder and a
110kV feeder to the 220/110/22 kV transformer; installing the surge arrester
and power transformer at the 22kV side of the 220/110/22 kV transformer./.
