Energizing the 2nd 220kV-250MVA transformer at Bac Ninh 3 220 kV substation

At 04h40, on January 12th 2018, at
Cho town, Yen Phong district, Bac Ninh province, the Northern Power Projects
Management Board (NPMB) combined with the relevant units to energize the 2nd 220/110/22kV-250MVA
transformer (AT2) at Bac Ninh 220 kV substation, completing the project
"Installation of 2nd 220kV transformer at Bac Ninh 3 220kV
substation".

The energized 2nd 220kV-250MVA AT2
transformer at Bac Ninh 3 220 kV substation will contribute to ensure a secure
and stable power supply to the loads of Bac Ninh city, especially Yen Phong
industrial zone and Sam Sung electronic consortium, contributing to pushing up
the socio-economic development of the area.
This is the energy project of Level
1, Group C, with a total cost of over VND 72 billion invested by the National
Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT);
NPMB was on behalf of EVNNPT to
coordinate the management of project; Power Engineering Consultation Company 2
(PECC 2) was responsibile for project design; Song Da Joint Stock Installation
and Services Company was responsible for implementation; Power Transmission
Company 1 (PTC1) takes over the operation of project.
Scope of project: a new
installation of a 220/110/22 kV AT2 transformer of a 250 MVA capacity (to
increase the total capacity of Bac Ninh 3 220kV substation to 2x250 MVA); installation
of a 220 kV feeder, a 110 kV feeder, devices to the 22kV side of the newly
installed transformer./.
