Energizing and putting into operation the second circuit of the 220kV Di Linh – Bao Loc transmission lines

​At 5.07 PM, on December 30, 2017, the Power Transmission Company No.3 (PTC3) has cooperated with related units to organize the energizing and operation the second circuit of the 220kV Di Linh – Bao Loc transmission line after 1 year implementation.

This is the I class energy project of group B with a total investment cost of over VND 168 billion, invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT). PTC3 is on behalf of EVNNPT to manage and operate the project. The Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 3 is responsible for project design.  Vietnam Joint Stock Power Construction Corporation (VNECO) is responsible for project implementation. Power Transmission Company No.3. Lam Dong power transmission Branch (belong to PTC3) is responsible for implementation supervision, taking over, management and operation after the completion of the project.

Scale of the project: (i) To build 01 new second circuit of the 220kV Di Linh - Bao Loc  transmission lines with a total length of 34.4km, including 92 electric tower, passing through 3 districts and cities: Di Linh, Bao Lam and Bao Loc city; (ii) To build new 01 of 220kV outgoing feeder at 500kV Di Linh substation (initial point)  and 01 of 220kV outgoing feeder at 220kV Bao Loc substation (final point).

The energizing and putting into operation of the second circuit of the 220kV Di Linh – Bao Loc transmission line will contribute to the transmission power capacity from Da Nhim hydro power plant, Dai Ninh, Dong Nai 2 to the national power system will improve reliability, stable and safe power supplying for districts and cities in the region; It also reduces the overload for the existing single circuit 220kV Di Linh - Bao Loc transmission line. It will form the linkage of 220kV power system between the central and southern regions to the period after 2025.​
