After 27 days of overhauling AT2 - 500 kV
transformer, under the serious and strict technical procedures, at 23h00 on
July 23rd 2016, at 500kV Ha Tinh substation, Power Transmission Company No. 1
combined with relevant units successfully energized the AT2 - 500 kV
transformer.
Participation in the project includes Anh Duong -
Sai Gon Technical Industrial Limited Liability Company combined with Ha Tinh Power
Transmission, Equipment Repair Division, Testing Division. Besides, the project
is provided with regular guide and instruction by Board of Directors and
various Divisions of PTC1.

Tinh substation help to settle shortcomings occurred to AT2 transformer such as
high concentration of gas in oil in Phase B, Phase A, oil leakage in Phase C. Besides,
the overhaul helped to find out 1 point where power discharge occurs in Phase B…
The successful energization of AT2 transformer of
500 kV Ha Tinh substation after overhaul has contributed to increasing the
reliability in operation and secure power supply to the North Central provinces
in general and Ha Tinh province in particular. A secure operation of 500 kV Ha
Tinh substation was ensured, this is a very important substation in the
national power transmission system and is a premise for PTC1 to settle the
other 500kV transformers which have shortcomings and failures in PTC1./.
