Installing
the AT1 220kV-250MVA transformer
Project “Upgrading capacity of 220kV Hoanh Bo
substation" has a total cost of VND 80 billion invested by National Power
Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT);
PTC1 is on behalf of EVNNPT to manage
project; Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Company (EEMC) supplies 220kV-250MVA
transformers; participation in project implementation includes Power
Construction Company No. 4 (PCC4) – Song Hong, Hoan Thien Technical and Trade
Development Limited Liabilities Company and PTC1’s subsidiaries: Dong Bac 1 Power
Transmission, Electrical Equipment Repair Division, Testing Division.
The main scope of project: Replacing the
existing AT1 220kV-125MVA transformer by a 220kV-250MVA transformer; improving,
adding, replacing relevant equipment to make suitable to the new transformer.
To complete tasks as scheduled, PTC1 arranged
staff from relevant divisions and workers to work regularly at site for a
timely implementation. All preparation steps have to be completed in
advance, ready for the remaining tasks to be done in power cut-off duration.
The energized AT1 220kV-250MVA transformer
at 220kV Hoanh Bo has reduced the overload for substation, especially in
end-year time and coming traditional Tet days, ensuring a secure, reliable
power supply to Ha Long city and North Eastern area of Vietnam, increasing
stability, secure operation for power transmission grid, contributing to
increasing business production efficiency for the Mine area and international
tourism in Halong.
The project completion was gained by
achievement of PTC1 staffs, contributing to EVNNPT’s general achievements to respond to 62 year anniversary of
traditional day of Vietnam’s power sector (21/12/1954 – 21/12/2016), as well as
the Customer Gratitude month – December 2016 of Vietnam Electricity./.
