Participation in the ground breaking ceremony
includes Mr. Le Thanh Dinh – Vice Director of CPMB and leaders of 2
implementing units of LICOGI 16 Joint Stock Company (installing substation,
providing and installing fire treatment systems) and Power Construction Company
No. 4 (PCC4) (constructing the 500kV and 220kV connection, including unbinding,
replacing optical cable in the existing 220kV Viet Tri – Son Tay transmission
line) and leaders of People’s Committee of Phu Ninh District, Phu Tho province.

breaking in 500kV Viet Tri substation and connection project
The 500kV Viet Tri substation and connection
project has a total cost of VND 1,246.8 billion (mobilized from commercial banks
and EVNNPT’s equity) invested by
National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT);
CPMB is on behalf of EVNNPT to manage
the project; Power Transmission Company No. 1 (PTC1) takes over the management
and operation of project after its completion.
Scope of project: (i) New construction of 500kV
substation, at capacity of (450+900)MVA, installing a 500/220kV-450MVA
transformer at this stage; (ii) Construction of 2 connected transmission line
routes: 500kV double circuit of 2.5km length and 220kV four circuits of 16km
length.
The project is constructed in 2 communes of Gia
Thanh and Bao Thanh, of Phu Ninh district and communes of Viet Tri city, Phu
Tho province.
The project is constructed to meet the load
growth demands of Northern power system, especially of Phu Tho and Vinh Phuc
provinces; create a strong linkage among areas in power system, increase a
secure and stable operation for the national power system; reduce power loss in
transmission grid, increase power generation and business efficiency in EVN.
After the ground breaking ceremony, CPMB
focused on instructing, managing, coordinating with relevant units to organize
project implementation so that project will be energized and put into operation
as scheduled./.
