
The 220
kV Bao Lam substation
The energized “220kV Bao Lam substation and
connected transmission line” project will ensure the capacity transmission of
hydropower plants in Bao Lam, Bao Lac districts of Cao Bang province and
surrounding areas to the national power system. This brings in an income for
the socio-economic and national defense development in Cao Bang mountainous
province; ensuring power energy for a sustainable development of Cao Bang
province and Northern mountainous provinces; increase power quality in the area
and brings into full play the transmission capacity of existing transmission
grid. The project is also to responds to the Customer Gratitude month –
December 2016 of Vietnam Electricity (EVN).
The project has a total cost of VND 323.66
billion mobilized from commercial banks and EVNNPT’s equity, invested by National Power Transmission Corporation
(EVNNPT); CPMB is on behalf of EVNNPT to manage the project; Power
Engineering Consultation Company No. 1 (PECC1) is responsible for design; Power
Construction Company No. 1 is responsible for project implementation, Northern
Testing One-Member Limited Liability Company is responsible for testing; Power
Transmission Company No. 1 (PTC1) will take over the management and operation
of project.
Scope of project: (i) New construction of 220
kV substation of capacity 2x125 MVA, with installing a 125 MVA transformer at
this stage; (ii) Construction of double circuit 220kV transmission line, of a 14.2km
length from 220 kV Bao Lam substation connected in a circuit of of 220 kV Nho
Que - Cao Bang transmission line; (iii) Construction of 1 circuit 35kV
transmission line of a 1,095 m length to serve the auxiliary power in the
substation.
The project started on December 15th 2015 and
constructed in Na Mat village, Ly Bon commune, Bao Lam district of Cao Bang
province./.
