Energizing the 2nd 220kV – 250 MVA transformer at the 220 kV Bac Ninh 2 Substation

8:00pm on December 24th 2017 in Dai Dong industrial zone located in Hoan Son
village, Tien Du District, Bac Ninh Province, Northern Power Projects
Management Board (NPMB) and other related units organized energizing the 2nd
220kV-250MVA transformer at the 220kV Bac Ninh 2 Substation.

The acceptance for operation of the 2nd 220kV-250 MVA
transformer at the 220kV Bac Ninh 2 substation would improve the reliability
and transmission capacity of the National power transmission system, as well as
ensure safe and stable power supply for peak loads at Tien Du, Tu Son and Thuan
Thanh Districts and the whole Bac Ninh Province.
This
is a Class 1-Group C power project with total investment of more than 87.6
billion VND. The project receives investment from National Power Transmission
Corporation (EVNNPT), who authorized NPMB to manage the project before it comes
under the management of Power Transmission Company 1 upon completion.
The
project involves installment of one 220/110/22kV transformer with a capacity of
250MVA (EEMC); installment of equipment at 220kV and 110kV main feeders as well
as four 110kV feeders at the current 220kV Bac Ninh 2 Substation./.
